Get those parts chromed. It makes it faster. Ha ha . Looks good.

The body paint is in pretty good shape no doubt. I wanted to repaint the front crossmember and some odds and ends as it was rusted pretty bad. Must have spent some time on an open trailer in the salt.
No chrome for this guy. Im spending that money on the motor. LOL I havent decided on what mill to use yet since I didnt get the original SX cylinders with this sled. Im leaning twords a ported vmax 600 motor I have on the shelf or a wickedly ported, barely trailable 570 build since I have accquired a good handfull of ported 570 cylinders.

I am sure what ever you put in there it's going to be done right and be quick . Are you staying with flat slide carbs?

Do you still have your original sled stil? . Well you no my story. I was just going to buy some gears from sxr1000 and the next day a had a doc appointment to read my MRI on my neck. The plate shifted and one of the screws came loose so back to surgery. But being off work for two years no pay and dealing with state insurance . It was ruff. But after 7 year court battle with not having crones and loosing my finger. I finally got my settlement checks . So I can say I have a new attitude . Still looking for some kind of work . But not in the Maintenance feild. Sold all my sleds after getting them fix by the dealer. Sold the 900 cat ( 2000-2001 for $25.75 to a 22 yr kid) got the mxz 700 fixed . It's mint. $100.00 just went up for sale
. Still have the srv . Going to try to find someone one the site to put a triple in there. If not that one goes for $ 50.00
. Time for something new.
