I have a "98" XTC 500 Deluxe. The electric start and backup alarm do not work but other than that everything else is fine. After troubleshooting it today I got it down to not having a (B) side on the schematic going the starter relay. If I run my own wire to another (B) point on the drawing and connect it to the (B) point on the starter relay then the electric start and backup alarm both work. The factory (B) side wire disappears into the wire loom.
My question is does anyone know where it goes from there to trace it and repair it properly. The (B) stands for Black on the drawing and appears to be ground however there is a different symbol for ground use elsewhere in the schematic. I really don't want to run an extra to fix this.
