Secondary clutch circular freeplay (slop) and reverse issue on 2011 Phazer
I have a 2011 Phazer rtx with electronic reverse. I take the belt off in the summer for storage. On the secondary clutch I noticed it had about 1 1/4 inches circular movement. Meaning i can rotate the secondary clutch about 1 1/4 inches (turning it)before i get any resistance to make it stop rotating. It does the same with the belt on. I checked the adjustment on the chain tensioner and it is right on. When you rotate the secondary clutch the brake does not rotate as much. My question- is this normal circular Free play (slop) for the secondary clutch ? Does anyone notice this on their sled? Also Reverse doe not alway want to engage. you have to rock the sled or push it back a little to make it go into gear. Is this normal ?
