I have read about this but do not know if it is necessary or worth it for a trail sled. I have to pull the drive shaft out of my viper this weekend and thought I would take it in if it would make any difference. I did a search and didn't see anything, there was a post on the 4 stroke side that pretty much said don't do it.

Almost all of mine have been done, but yeah, nothing you're really going to gain trail riding. I have a friend with a lathe so why not.
