99 Vmax Deluxe Ski question

Purchased a "99 500 Deluxe for the girls to ride and I would like to put some plastic skis on it . So what will fit ? I was thinking I might be putting after market skis on the 15 Apex , will the tuner skis off it fit ? Thanks gang !!

Yes and any Yamaha OEM skis will fit. Not the new tunners from the SR Vipers or sidewinders.

Because they will be for the girls, I would put some wide ones on. They will keep the girls from getting in trouble and getting stuck. Plus the girls could care less about sharp handling. But if you do want some sharp handling, Triple Points are always available.
A ski like this would give you piece of mind knowing they're not out there stuck.

Why not the tuners from a sr viper?

SR viper tuners are meant for the cat chassis. Any of the Yamaha tuners will work.
