Converting to Hydraulic Brakes ---78 SRX

OK guys I know somebody on here can give me some reasonable advise. I want to convert the old cable pull brakes to hydraulic on my 78 SRX racer. Where do I start and what do I need to make it happen ??

yamaha nutz can better give you the info,but you need to use a polaris,kelsey-hayes caliper and make a mount as the center to center on the mounting holes is wider on polaris caliper.make sure you get the one that mounts from the side and NOT the top mount caliper.early to mid 80's indy's are your best bet.

Would any of the newer side mount Polaris calipers work? I see I may have to build an adapter plate to use the existing holes.
