Exhaust Donuts

I've had my pipes off the srx a few times and it seems this last time I now have a leak. Do you guys put new donuts on or use some type of sealer on them to fix it.

could be your springs are getting weak too

I had to replace them on my 01 last year after they started leaking. Replacing the springs didn't do the trick in my case. They are expensive little buggers!

I replaced one at $15...what a joke for such a small item, but you gotta do it if it leaks!

Those buggers are expensive. I used some permatex ultra copper sealer on it for now till I get new donuts. I'll let you know how it works out.

Like jwifferdill posted, around 15-16 bucks ea. I think the little ones at the other end are even more.

As I recall it was $90+ for all of them.

use a generous amount of copper or orange rtv sealant. You can find it at any parts store. But you have to do it every time you take your pipes off. I've never had a problem.
