02 Viper Stock exhaust upgrade

Is it worth upgrading exhaust can to get rid of weight and help performance, or stay with stock. if so what is available and best one to use.
 
I'm not sure about triple pipes weight wise, I think they're about the same. I do know that there is about a 25 horsepower gain from the triples though. If I were you I would just keep an eye out for a used set of slps or something

If staying with stock pipe stay with stock can. Yamaha built these right. Now tripple pipes like bender or CPR are awesome and worth the upgrade if you can deal with 8-10mpg. Best bet is a bender 4x4 pipe and can if you can still find on. Even the bender pipe and stock can are nice. Slight increase in hp and no loss in MPG.
