Well, yes and no....
When I first posted this, the sled was a 600 twin, but has since been converted to a Mr. Viper 700 redhead.
On first test last year, motor blew from lack of octane. So, sent it back for Mr. Viper to fix last year. Still waiting for parts to come back from him.

Was my own fault, needed 95 octane, and I tried to get there with 91 and a lot of torco...

Growing up my parents were pilots. 100 octane was the only fuel at the airport for the 150 & 182. < $2/gal. in the late 70s - early 80s. I regularly got some for my Doo 9500 engine mods.

It’s gonna be to big of a PITA for me. So when I reassemble, I am going with a stock head with 1 layer head gasket.
