Turning isssues with 03 viper

Ok i had my shocks revalved, a rip saw,new mountain skis,bender tranfer rods all this year.Last year there were no issues the viper would turn on a dime.Now with all these changes it doesn't turn how i liked it before.limiter straps are pulled up same as last year fra hard,soft preload,tranfer rods abot 75/50 and it sits low,so in turn I'm adjusting,fra soft,preload hard,its like the total op. of the set up i had last year,maybe because of all the different changes,all i know is i need this sled to turn like it used too. Any help will be great................................Thanks..........
 
Questions: When do you find it's turning the least? In the powder or on the trail? How is the sled behaving differently? Does it push/slide through corners or does it feel non responsive...if you know what I mean. With those new skis it would porbably be the biggest factor in the change. Typically the mountain skis don't have anyhwere near the same bite as a trail ski. If it's on the Hard pack your having trouble, move the transfer rods forward a bit and maybe consider some longer Carbides. I always use at least an 8" on my Viper and it turns with ease and bite in.
 
yeah, on the trails it seems to bite sometimes and then not. When it bites it bites, the machine when it bites always has inside ski lift.not used to that,maybe thats the key carbides,i have 6 inch on there now,plus maybe i need to look at the carbides for wear,maybe i need to shim them,as recomended,like the stock skis.I think i have one more trip planned so hopefully i get this figure out or I'll be snow checking a 06 rage.
 
I don't know what keel the skis have that you put on. I do know that the Viper S comes with a ripsaw and the deep keel skis and it turned fine, then I put shaalow keel skis on it and it would do the push and then bite thing. Because the Ripsaw has so much bite with shallow skis or a lack of ski pressure it pushes bad unless the carbides happen to catch on something. I put the medium keel skis on and it is livable. With the ripsaw the deep keel skis are the best combination however they scrub top speed.
