Hand warmers

Hi everyone ! I have removed the hand warmers on my vmax sx and just put non heated grips on. My question is do I plug the 2 wires that used to go to the warmers into each other or just tape them up and leave them separated ? Thank you !
 
Do not connect both wires to each other! Simply unplug the connecter and maybe wrap it up with some electrical tape for insurance. Even better would be to pull the fuse if your grips were equipped with one.
 
What are you doing with the old warmers and do they work?! I've been looking for a set for my vmax since the new ones are like $100 bucks each CDN!
 
The old grips were worn out that's why I replaced them. I was in the same boat as you, I couldn't justify spending $200 bucks on grips so I just bought non heated ones.
 
Damn! I could ride without them as I use it for just around the yard to pull my son around but my wife's hands freeze instantly so if she uses it would be nice to have heated grips. I'll keep searching!
