i have a 02 viper 700 and there is a hose under the thermostat housing that is 1/4 inch by 8 iniches long where does it go it has a bent metal male bent metal hose connects to it. It is leaking coolant when I fill it there

No that is a bigger line that is behind the thermostat

no, sorry your mistaken the little metal 90 degree hose barb on the thermostat housing goes to the carb heater line. its the only small line on the housing, the others are the coolant lines for the front heat exchanger and the coolant bottle, top rad/head hose.

He was right the had the vent hose for coolant bottle on the carb heater and had another hose stuck on a metal clamp so I thought there was 2 hoses . I am all set now figured it out.
