Use of led dash lights?

Hi
Will I damage anything if I run 0,8w led bulbs in the instrument panel om my vt 500 instead of the normal 1,7 w bulbs?

it should be fine. i used all led bulbs in my 01 sxr. gauges, headlights, and taillight. it worked good

Mike, can you list the bulbs you used for everything?
I would like to switch as well.
