HELP! 38mm Carbs

I put 38mm carbs off a 2000 Mach Z on my srx835 today. I got the throttle and choke cables from bender and they hooked up fine. As soon as i squeezed the throttle the throttle will not go all the way to the bars. But that is okay, because it is the way the carbs are designed. The throttle valves open all the way. But the question i have is about the oil pump. Now that the throttle lever will not open all the way i am thinking the oil pump will not open all the way. I have adjusted the oil pump, so that when you pull the cable out and squeeze the throttle the oil pump cable just sits snug like you were adjusting it. So now my adjustment on my oil pump is 13mm instead of the 21-22mm its suposed to be. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

just take some slack out of it until the lever on the oil pump is pulled the same amount that it was before the throttle stuff was changed.
 
the problem with using those carbs is the throttle/pull ratio on the ski doo stuff is quicker than the Yammie. That can be fixed by using the cable quadrant from a 600 twin rack and installing it on the doo carbs. As far as the oil cable, you could just look at the lever on the oil pump and adjust it accordingly at WOT.
