How do I get the clearance at the drivers for a 2 1/2” track. The 7 tooth 2.86 is the same diameter as the 8 tooth 2.52.

That’s a lot of lug for the proactions. Drop and roll the chain case my be your only option, but can get pricey to find someone to do it!
I looked into doing that at one point, 7 tooth 2.52 should leave enough clearance but not by terribly far and thats a pretty tight bend. I ended up doing an ekholm tunnel drop and roll. Used parts are the only affordable way to go, if you can find them. There was 3 sleds for sale around here that had those parts this spring.

You WILL have tunnel/snow evacuation issues w/ a 7 tooth,2.52 and a 2.5 lug. Drop and roll it.
