Well, I bought this sled new in the summer of 1996, has served me well, but now its time to redo the sled with some updates, and a bit more power. More to come.
This is how it looked after going unused for about 8 years.

This is an older pic when I did the dual bulb conversion.
Also added EGT gauges at the same time.

Pic of hood with new pod, and temporary blacked out headlight, will replace with a smoked version soon.
Sorry, picture is turned...

I will just monitor PTO and MAG. Should give me a decent idea of whats going on I think.
Don (Mr. Viper) is building my motor, should be done around the end of the month he said.

Thank you, I will see if that works!

Edit*
Nope, still the same thing after I turn them and save.
Will have to take pics with the phone verticle instead of horizontal, as those are the ones that go goofy...

So, I added a SRX rear heat exchanger to replace the factory bypass tube. Only problem was the srx exchanger was much larger, so had to use both hoses, and got a 3/4" to 1" adapter.

Replacing gear set with stock SRX setup, 23/38
Had a 21/39 set in there, should be stronger, and have easier rolling resistance. Chaincase and bearings looked to be in excellent shape still.

Well, was still running the stock 8CR weights with the 600 twin, now will be switching it to a tall cover and Don said he will give me a Heel Clicker setup to use, once the engine is complete.

If you are looking for a cover, 40-10s,adjustment fasteners and springs, I have them. Was going to install on my daughters 96 XT6 but snow has been at a premium here in Illinois and I am no longer interested.

These just came in the mail, will be pulling skid this weekend, installing all new oversized billet wheels, axle, and new Viper shocks with all new bushings.
