Hello all. I was once here 15 plus years ago...but you know. Kids family work ect. Glad to be back and hope to mingle more!
Quick question however , recently finally purchased a 93 vmax 4. Awesome machine . But has anyone with these have had false readings on fuel gauge . Mine goes from full to half properly. Then down to empty asap. I know I have half tank left.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

That's the way they work. My 93 exactly the same.

That's what my 92 does. When I know it is half full it reads almost empty.

Any thoughts on resurrecting the problem ?
I have yet not done ohm testing or anything on the wiring or sending unit . Just curious if anyone's dabbled
