proparly clutch it, jet it, and gear it. Studs also help out a lot overall. Clean your valves, carbs, etc. Basically, tune everything up. clutching is a BIG BIG factor, as well as gearing.

I never heard anything about the 835 big bore. Are they not reliable?/do they run good?

If you want to fly and be reliable.Simon's has a 780 kit that is 170hp with the stock exhaust.

The reeds do very little with a stock motor, work better with ported cylinders but hardly worth the money.Same goes for the cold air kit.(noisy, inconsistent jetting).Tried them all!

your biggest bang for the buck will be clutching and studding.
Look at the tech page for clutch set ups.

Any of you guys tried a set of heelclickers with a the white primary spring out of the RX-1 Heelclicker kit?
A friend of mine with an 02 SRX running heelclickers with a white primary (170-300) with a Bender helix 9770 BB (we think is around a 46/36 not 100% sure) and a red yamaha secondary spring with stock gearing. He tells me this is by far the best all around set-up he has had on the sled. Hole shot, midrange and top-end.
I have not had a chance to run against him with his set-up so i'll have to see now that we have some snow again.
