A friend has his venture at my place and were ready to put skid back in. We are replacing the hyfax first but asking if anybody knows the proper size metric fine thread tap for the screw hole on rails.

Tom if that dont work like mine didnt on a set of rails you can do them like the yamacats. I simply drilled a hole through the side of the rail right above the hyfax screw hole. Then cleaned up that hole with a snug drill bit. Then simply use a lock nut and screw to secure hyfax. Never have to worry about stripping that damn hole again. LOL

thats normal, mine stripped and i drilled and oversized it to an m8X1.25. original is an m6 i think
I'll try cleaning them up first before I go to that extreme. But thank you for posting size and option to drill.
