carb question

The round slide Mikunis on my sled have a small hose fitting at the very bottom of the float bowl and fuel runs out of them when the sled is running
can i just cap these off ?

These sound like the water traps, but I am not certain. If so plug them for sure

looking at the pics of VM carb , It's the same fitting that a POWER JET fuel line would hook up to !

i think they are water traps if i am correctly picturing what you are talking about. Pictures speak a thousand words though.
