2002 sxviper electric start: Dash panel and headlights went out Tail and brake lights still work. What to look for, fuse on top of battery box good. If voltage bad wouldn't think tail lights would work. Suggestions please. Tks jim

Fuse on top of battery box is only for relay, If this is a factory electric start it will have a fuse box inside engine bay. It will be above right foot well between that and battery, i dont remember what the fuses are for off top of head but worth a look. Also check for wire rub through on harness going from engine bay to guage pod. Can rub through there also.

Thanks. I suspect its the little box on the fire wall with the opener on the left side . Impossible to get to or open while on the trail. 1 10 & 1 20 amp according to parts manual. Thanks again.
