2001 SXR 600 no spark.

I have recently acquired a 2001 SXR with a 600 in it that has no spark. I have pulled the stator and it tests good from what I can tell. I am getting .5 ohms. When I test the pickup coil I get nothing. Is it safe to say that the pickup could is bad? My flywheel was very rusty and I have cleaned that off already. Thanks for any help.

Also what other sleds have the same stator as mine I am having a hard time finding a match.

the sx/sxr 700's should be the same as long as the head lamps are the same on both sleds. they are different between the single bulb sleds and the dual bulb. also the xtc, vmax and venture ones would work as well from that era.
