Anybody ever see pilot jets get destroyed like the ones in the pic? They’re brand new, took sled out for a short run which it ran like crap so I figured I’d check the jetting and change sizes. One broke a piece off in the hole and now can’t get it out, luckily I have a spare set of carbs.

Btw these were EBC brand jets.
wow, that's nuts. I have used the EBC stuff also with no ill effects.

I've never seen anything like that and have no idea how it could even happen other than a horrible factory flaw??
You might try removing the fuel screws and blasting cleaner or air through, it should come out the pilot jet openings and possibly get the broken piece out.

I've had it happen before on my SRX bought it that way tried to get the pilot out and found that same thing I think someone over tightens them and they bottom out and accordin in the hole back them out the thg snap off. I used a reverse drill very carefully and was able to get the rest out
