I'm getting about 75 miles to a full tank on stock SRX with 8200 miles. Everything has been rebuilt including top end and carbs gone through, stock jetting.

Can bad reeds cause poor mileage?

Sled is running really good, other than poor mileage there are no problems

#33 and 35 on fische,if you want to check blow into carb fuel inlet, it should hold pressure.if not thats your problem .

This is the inside of air box. Completely drenched in fuel.

Looks like a few reeds are chipped

I like to buy the entire needle and seat assembly, and new orings when doing it, just for peace of mind.

if you can blow threw them then needles are leaking,I would blow through the spare carbs before installing. If they are leaking its using a lot more fuel,.

Spare carb rack gone through. Clean as a whistle since a bottle of sea foam was ran in motor before carbs were taken off.

New pedals and reed blocks are in.

Good catch on reeds! They have caused me problems more then once.

Thanks buddy. I knew there was a reason I picked those reed valves that year. Still sitting in a drawer in the box u sent me.

Lol.

So,,, I guess I had a combination of problems? Probably the needle seats more than anything though

Sorry, that was Jeff that sent me the reeds. Lol

That was back in 2014 for the 2013 season, the year Peyton Manning choked like a chicken in a huge blow out. Seahawks VS Broncos

Maybe we can get a contest going for next season. Who is in?
