This summer I am looking at painting my tunnel or polishing it. I have heard painting might not be the best option but am curious if anyone has done theirs? Any feedback would be great!

I painted my '01 years ago and it's holding up fine. I did not strip it, just scuffed and painted over the factor paint. If you get down to bare aluminum, I'd suggest a zinc/chromate primer before paint.

Good to know! I’m looking to paint it the same silver color from factory. I’ve been told Navistar silver pearl met.
Dupont m1930k alt is a good paint code to use.

At some point I noted:
"silver - 77-00974 Starlight Silver (M) Clear coat 2001"
Supposedly a Dupli-Color paint, can't remember where I found it, might have been on here some where

Just saw that I had noted "Navistar silver pearl met. Dupont m1930k alt. 0" as well.
