Orientation for Opti Cool

So, I finally assembled my 835.
Motor came with an Opti cool head gasket.
I put it together with the larger opening on the PTO side.
Now I am unsure if thats correct, or if the largest coolant opening goes on the Mag side.
Anyone ?

Wow. lady luck has finally smiled upon me, lol.
Ususally, given a 50/50 chance, I wind up having to take it apart...

Lol, not much to see. Just looks like a viper motor sitting on my bench.
Have not for sure decided which sled I’m putting the motor into yet, but I’m thinking it will be a 2004 Viper S.

Yeah agreed. Big bore looks no different than any other. Do you have the BIG bore bender pipes for the 835? Are you running the 38 ski doo carbs?
