reed spacers?

Is there an advantage to notching reed plates and also installing reed spacers on a 2000 600 vmax with a red head triple engine?

notch is good without the spacers. if adding spacers, do not need the notch.

Notching helps but is not as good as spacers.. I had mine notched and after removing my jugs this fall, I observed top Reed stopper still restrict the rear booster ports . Only way to completely eliminate boost port restriction is with spacers.

spacers, easy to make yourself if you are up to it. after the amount of cracked reed stops I've found, I'm not a fan of notching them.

Have the same ones from Royal Distributing. Good quality. Planning to add primer nipples to each one before installing.

Do you need them if you have vforce reeds already?

I don't believe they are required if you have Vforce reeds. Just what I've read on this forum, I have no experience with them
