500 V Max Overheating

99 V Max 500 is overheating The engine is hot to the touch-the hose from the cylinder head to the pressure cap is warm but from the pressure cap thru the foot rail and rear cooler is cold. The hose from the left foot rail that runs under the clutches is cold as is the hose from the water pump to engine The water pump belt is turning Ran fine all last year Could a water pump have gone bad? Any help please Thanks

Sounds like you need to burp the system.

I have always raised the rear of the sled and filled till all air was gone How do you burp the system?

You raise the back first, and then you let the air out in the front, the blead screw on the top of the coolant thing that goes into the engine.

There is a bleed screw at the back under the seat. Unless you had the coolant out, this shouldn't be the problem.
Take a closer look at the pump.
