2000 600 VMax clutching to soft

I would like to install a different clutch set up on my Grandsons 600 Red Head V Max (2000) Looked thru the Yamaha user clutch charts and found one set up for a 2000 SXR and a 2001 SXR. These are almost the same except the 2000 uses a 8ab weight and the 2001 uses a 8ca weight. I researched Turks corner and could find anything posted Does someone have a good set up to wake this thing up? Thanks

any 40 gram base weight can be made to act like the 8ab (41g) and 8ca (42.8g) weights. did that using thunder shift 40g weights in a sx500r for vmax jhons 500cc set up. used everything else he used and the sled went corner to corner like an animal.
