Does anyone know if the primary from a 98 RMK 700 will fit a 95 vmax 600 twin? Looking at the comet application chart that RMK clutch should be the same as what's used on the XLT's that people say should fit the Vmax
I don't know for 100% sure, but I would think it will work. I once had a Polaris clutch on my 95 600. Think I had to use 56 or 58 gram weights.

availability of cheap parts, everyone makes aftermarket parts (springs, weights) for the P85. For the old style yami clutch there isn't much available and next to nothing available around my area, dealers don't stock parts and what they can order costs twice as much as the polaris parts. Also helps that I've got a handful of friends with piles of polaris clutch parts
