Wondering if oil pump can be changed without pulling the engine?
Should be able to:
Just remove carbs. Two bolts hold the pump on. When installing new pump, put grease on shaft insert.

Thanks. That’s what I was thinking. Hate to get half way into it only to find out it would have been easier to pull the engine.
