So. I assume this isn’t factory. Seems like all these wires were spliced for some reason. My biggest concern is the black green wire splicer in with the brown white. It was grounded to the chassis.

Sorry. 2000 srx700. Tors is activating even though it’s disconnected. My oil light is on at lower rpms but goes out at higher. I was checking wires and found this splice job. They grounded the brown wire that goes to load control relay.
What sled is this?
What kind of problems are you having?

So, my guess is I might have a bad CDI. Seems this brown/white wire goes to it and the cdi must create a path to ground which activates the load control relay and turns the lights on. I’m guess the cdi was not doing this so they made a direct path to ground that activate or switches the relay as soon as the sleds starts. So, I might be looking for a cdi

I wish I could help, but no good with wiring.
At least you have the problem figured out!
As you probably know, the 2000 SRX CDI was a one year only box.
So, you have to find one from a 2000 SRX.

I actually did not know that. I was thinking 2000-02 were all the same. And that 98-99 the same. Thanks for that update.
