Doesn't anyone know a source for float bowl gaskets for a 80 et340 and an 89 ovation 340... both part numbers are "not available" from Yamaha.
for the ovation, good luck. i have the same carb on my et410 t/r and it is always a pain to get parts /knowlege for. lots of guys convert it to the carb set up from the et340 as they are easier to get info and tune on.
the et 340, they still make the carb tune up kits according to my royal distributing book. part # is 07-261884 witch covers from 1985-1990 enticers witch had the tors system vs the older ones.
you might have to get an o ring splice kit and make your own or use a light coating of aviation form a gasket. just be aware that this will make it extra difficult to get the bowl off in the future.
