2000 max 700 Xtra 12 skid swap

Hey guys, I have a 2000 vmax 700 that runs beautifully, but the skid is beat and track is toast.. I also have a 96 xlt with a blown motor but the skid is as perfect as perfect gets. . I am curious if anyone on here has swapped an Xtra 12 skid into a vmax? I done a couple searches but didn't find anything for Xtra 12, only Xtra 10 and I'm not sure eif they are the same.

Any info would be awesome

track is the same drive pitch and legnth between both sleds. as you have both tunnels, it is just a matter of transfering the measurements for the mounting points and nessary bracing from one tunnel to the other. i put a phazer II skid into a sprint this way but i did have to add plates to the tunnel at the mounting points as the polaris tunnel was wider than the yamaha. i did all my measurements based off of the drive axle back and top of tunnel down.

That's great info, I had no idea on how to measure it to get it to line up and sit 8n there properly. I may go at swapping them this weekend coming, I'll update when I do.
