5 flashes: irregular voltage (Stator?)

I believe my stator is at its end.

I've been having a weird misfire and losing power when hot (can no longer pull rpm after 5-10 minutes of running and begins backfiring)

Went for a ride this weekend and under power she threw a code: 5 flashes. Irregular voltage.

Will no longer pull RPM cold or hot. Worse hot.

Ive been thinking ive had a stator issue for a while.

Question:

I'm planning on ordering a stator from RM Stator, any opinions on their product?

Id say stator.. not sure about that product tho.. might not have a choice.

make sure you check the harness while you are doing it.

i know some one that swears by those stators but does admit at getting bad ones from them occasionally.

Wiring harness has been through and rerouted as well as protected. May go OEM just for the piece of mind anyways. Thanks for the input guys.

The stator on that vintage of SRX had an update once thats why there is a -10 following the part number. Definitely go with the OEM Yamaha stator while they are still available.
