Best aftermarket skis 2001 SRX 700?

I have been researching replacement skis for my sled. I've gotten some advice that if I stray from stock it will affect ride height. I heard USI made the originals so they're ok. Does that go for the USI X2 Triple Threat as well? Is it having the metal shoe that makes it work? I'd like to go with C&A Pro because they're a little cheaper but if the USI keep the ride height, they might be the way to go. Cheapest is buy used stock skis off eBay. But are these aftermarket skis significantly better? My biggest concern with used is they will be worn out and crack like my current skis. Thanks for the help.

USI are great but very expensive(paid $700 a set with carbides back in 2002).Aggressive keel,great steering response,great floation in deep snow.CApro,never got to use them but heard from a good source(powermodz?)that they are super aggressive ski,made purely for snocross use.Not ideal for a trail sled.Got a orange set of USI on my 850MXZX,big improvement over stock.

any aftermarket ski will have the same height as stock if you order it for a sr viper or sidewinder. you will have to make a shim of plastic or rubber to use the stock ski rubbers.

Those are the new sleds, right? Mine is a 2001 2 stroke. Does that still apply? Thanks

yes it does. i had 01 srx skis on the et410 in my signature and replaced them with 2014 sr viper skis. they bolted right up no issues.
