1999 Venture 700 - rail reinforcement

I have read that the weakest part of the stock 99 Venture 700 is the rear suspension rails are prone to cracking. Mine are still in good shape but I was wondering where they tend to crack and whether anyone has reinforced theirs? Thanks

if and when they crack its usually at the bump stops area just behind where the front arm bolts on.
that's why they added part 18 and 25 to skids on late model 136 skids.

Thanks. Makes sense they would crack at the bump stops. Looks like an easy upgrade.
