Hello, new poster here, long time lurker.
Ive been into snowmobiling my whole life but have been out of it for a decade. Just purchased a 2002 SX Viper to get back into things and am looking for some info.
Yes I have searched and read through the tech pages...
I have SLP triple pipes to put on this sled. yes it has the srx cooler in the rear, yes I plan to do the srx base gasket and the supercool head gasket.
1.) Will the stock head be fine, or is it a must to run a different head?
2.) will the supercool head gasket work with factory srx heads?
3.) Do they still make the Heel Clicker clutch set up for this sled? I emailed them last week and have not got a response back yet.
4.) Does anyone still make the rear suspension adjustable transfer rods that I keep reading about that is supposed to be a gamechanger for these sleds?
Thanks for any info

welcome!
i never messed with pipes on one of those but most ran with stock head with the gaskets you mentioned with few issues. heel clicker was obselete for awhile until i heard a new guy is doing them again.
with pipes it will be much harder on gas.
as to the adjustable transfer rods, they where made by a whole bunch of companies. might get lucky and find a nos set. i had spx ones on my sxr back in the day. pretty much any of the old racing gus had them availible (hauk/bender).

Thanks for the reply. This sled is mostly going to be a lake runner as our trails hardly ever open anymore so I am not too concerned with the fuel consumption.
