Does anyone know where the voltage regulators are located on these specific sleds..... a 1978 Yamaha Enticre 250, a 1983 Enticer 300, and a 1980 Enticer 340? I have each of these sleds and I want to rebuild them and replace specific parts. I can't seem to locate the voltage regulators on them. I haven't looked anywhere outside of the engine compartment......... but I'll eventually get there! Any help that will save me time is greatly appreciated.
I have seen them on the front of the tunnel under the carbs. Follow the wire harness, you should be able to find it. I have also seen them on the back side of the foot hold on either side.
