Does anyknow know if this is possible without putting on a whole new skid? What kind of longer shock, limiter straps etc.. Does it need a new W Arm?
Would be nice to get a few more inches of travel if it's not overly complicated

11.5" of travel was factory. more will probably involve a different suspension.

If I stick to OEM without a long travel, Are there any aftermarket shocks for the rear skid? The Yamaha ones are ridiculously priced, Im sure its because these sleds are 20+ yrs old now. Is there a recommendation for aftermarket shocks?

Your own shocks may be rebuildable. A good shock rebuilder can make them ride pretty decent.
