Morning , did you buy the sled.. Sleds are a bit/lot like pickups .. there will always be some that
do one job better than the other model or brand. Expect you wandered threw the section in
4 cycle Yams and the VK pros. They are a tank , handle better than my 93 VK II, pogo stick.
I was told by a dealer , the only way to ruin the engine was to run with a bad track and
throw a stud into the exchanger . loose your coolant and the temp gauge won't show
the over temp issue .
Curious , 5000 km or 5 thousand miles?
My older sled weighs shy of 700 lb . I carry a come along , axe , hand saw. tow ropes , a couple
sets of tools , a frisbee (flat and collect nuts and bolts in it). Really don't care about the extra
weight . I can't pick it up anyway.
The VK pro will steer opposed to my bump steer when grooming but you will see
posts about adding weight to front to counter act the groomer pulling down on the back
and crooked and down when turning under load.. If I groomed more , I would have
created a goose neck hitch overtop the passenger spot. Then would steer like
a 5th wheel trailer and not a tail tugger.
