Hello, I have not been on this side of the forums for a while but have a question regarding the 700 Vipers
I found a 2001 Viper for sale cheap with an alleged water pump gasket leak.
Is this common on a low milage (3900) unit?
Is it a sign of bigger problems?
Unfortunately it is @ 2.5 hours away so I cant just jump down and check it out.
I keep seeing it come up for sale and it looks like a good deal if it just a gasket.

It happens, and its not a common problem. I may have some new seals and impellers.

When I was buying parts sleds with no registration (and some self declared) they were
often sold as if previous year model as they used the build dates on the tunnel.
Always like to think the best of people BUT make sure the registration matches the sled
and year .. and it looks too good to be never registered .
I have a number of Canada and USA sleds that have no license stickers or bills of sales
going back to 1st owners. One came from VT which didn't have registered sleds in 1974.
Good hunting and gasket seems too easy.
I have had two tractors and numerous GM that leaked if rad cap tight. BUT
never lose another drop if just contact after 1st click. No pressure n no leak .
