New member here! Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so please be gentle!
I am looking for information on the reverse chaincase for a 90's Yamaha Venture GT/XL. I don't really need a full manual as I'm just doing another reverse conversion on one of my Phazers. The chapter on the chaincase is all I really need.
Unfortunately the chaincase I picked up is missing some bolts so I'm trying to find out what length and pitch they are. And of course Yamaha parts doesn't give that information, only a part number.
Yes, I suppose I could always look at my first conversion if I had to but it would be a real P.I.T.A. to get to them let alone measure their length.
I've been looking all over the net for a free manual or just a chaincase chapter of the manual, but so far no joy.

PS: If anyone needs help doing the Venture chaincase conversion into a Phazer, let me know. This will be my second one. My first turned out extremely well and it looks darn near factory and I didn't have to do the unsightly notch in the hood like so many others do. My shifter comes out the pull-start hole and almost looks like it supposed to be there.
