Been years since I've been on here! I've been enjoying my 2017 Ski-doo Renegade 850 for the last four seasons.
My brother now owns my old Venture and we've decided to give her a much deserved rear skid upgrade. Picked up this beautiful 2011 SC5 rear skid from a 1200 Renegade for a good price .
Just started the initial mock up this afternoon using an old parts Venture frame for now until I'm confident in my plan of attack. Once the fitmen and details are ironed out, the skid will be mounted in the actual project sled.

Nice. I've been reading up on a swap for my SXR, mostly looking at SC3 or newer and the Polaris Edge. In my so-far-brief searches I've landed on a few threads over on Doo Talk forums of guys asking about tunnel measurements.
That still a 136" skid then?

That's sweet. Love how incognito it looks with the black wheels. Did you find documented center to center measurements anywhere online? I've seen a couple projects where people drilled based on C2C distance of the skid fully extended and ended up with severe binding issues when actually cycling it after install.

You get this project buttoned up?
Found an SC4 locally that has my attention. Wondering if it's worth holding out for an SC5.

No got too much other stuff on the go.
About to start back on it.
If you found a solid SC4 I would just go for it as i doubt and SC4 to 5 is a world of a difference coming of an original proaction skid
