So obviously adjustable control rods adjust the upper gap for weight transfer. But I haven't seen much discussion on setting up the lower spacing for different applications. This screenshot from the tuning manual shows different lower spacers for all the different models, most notably the 700's having thicker spacers than their respective smaller CC model mates.
Who has added or removed lower spacer thickness, and with what particular goal(s) in mind? What were your results?
