C.D.I. Question- SRX's

Just installed 700 into 600 chassy.
Some knowledgeable people on this site said to leave the 600 cdi in, as it is better than the 700.
What is the difference? and why is it better?
The 600 was pretty well toasted and the 700 was available so I went with it.
Don't want to replace/rebuild again.
Any help would be apprieciated.

the 600 runs more timing advance than the 700, probably not a good idea for general riding, or you might be getting some visits from the piston fairy.

600 CDI is great for racing but trail riding on questionable few is gonna cost ya!!!

I heard the overall timing is the same, but the 600 ramps up quicker, probably wouldn't see a difference

from how it was explained to me, the timing is the same, but the valve curve on the 600 is more aggressive
