The tach stopped working. I noticed though that when I change the headlights from Low Beam to High Beam, the tach starts working again but both low and high beam not working. Rear lamp and brake lights works fine.
Coolant warning lamp blinks on and off. I have checked the wireharness under the engine and around the handlebar.
The harness to the hood was melted on the exhaust when i bought the sled.
Someone know what it can be?

Check ground or run another ground.
Also take the bulbs out and check tach, maybe you have some corrosion causing a short.
Has to be a short somewhere...they can be hard to find but up around the steering post/bars is not uncommon as well as the main harness especially where it bends for the hood opening and closing. You might have to unwrap the whole harness to find the issue
