I was thinking about the... I think AC has done something to the tracks to avoid track noise..? Is this done on the mountain sleds?

No i beleave they turned the track backwards to give the sled more floation. ( not really turned backwards just designed that way)...reddog

I dont think it will work, do you need a new track or are you looking for a 141" with smaller lugs? The new attack 20 tracks AC is using on its mtn sleds has a 3" pitch and stock mountain max are not 3" pitch drivers. Since the 141" track on the M5 is 1.5" lugs then maybe it is just a regular pitch track. If you are looking for the best prices on tracks then look at tracks usa . com
