engagement shims

How many RPM's does each shim raise the engagement point when added to the primary. Thanks

I would like to know this also, there are different thickness of shims too, and if you install too many you can bind the spring right guys?? what is the normal or max before this hapens, or how can I check binding?

I can't remember how much rpms per shim but no more than 3 shims is recommended.

1mm shim equals 100 rpm.3mm equals 300rpm.Hope this helps.
