My sled is a 1998 SRX 700. Whenever the sled sits for a couple of weeks or more, it takes maybe 10 or 15 pulls to get it to fire and then frequently one or more plugs will foul out. Two weeks ago I filled it with fresh gas and installed 3 new plugs. Today, it took 10 or 12 pulls to get it to fire and then 2 of the plugs fouled out. I installed 2 new plugs and started it. After a short distance the remaining plug which hadn't fouled previously, fouled out. The machine will run fine and start fine now until it sets for a period of a couple of weeks or more and then I will have to go thru the same ritual again. I don't know if it is related or not but I also have a problem getting the machine to idle. Whenever I stop I have to hit the choke to get it to idle. I have went up 1 size on the pilots and have adjusted nearly all the way out to no avail. I have some # 47.5's on order to try that. I use BR9ECS plugs, have a cold air kit with a gutted air box, new V-Force reeds, a Tempaflow and milled heads. The sled runs very well except for this problem. Any ideas you can give me will be appreciated.
